Old Postcards from New York to Back Home #7 - United Nations At Night

United Nations at night - The remarkable setting of the buildings of the United Nations with the East River on the east and the skyline of New York on the west is a fitting tribute to New York in having established within these boundaries the representatives of the world, sitting in peaceful conclave, guiding the world through political, economic and social problems.

Card Reads:
Cyndi - Boy, New York sure is huge! We got here about 6:30 last night. We rode the subway to the fair last night. The fair was real nice but it was closing for the year. The subway really goes fast and only stops for about 4 sec(onds) so you can't sleep for a second! Speaker is here - Bye! - Sandy
