Four popular priced restaurants. Dancing nightly in the Terrace Restaurant. Rates: $3.00 a day and up. Ralph Hitz, President.

$3.00 a day. Man, those were the days. A quick check on the hotel's website this morning lists "the best price" for a room room for tonight at $279.00.

Dear Cleo - Letter writing seems scarce - However I think of you and yours often - Spent wkend of 6/9 in NYC - meant to drop you this card from there. I think you owe me a letter. [?] so far has been cool here. Just came in from a steak fry supper - grand picnic spots here - Expect to be Mpls - July 16 - to Aug. Love to you all - Lilli.

*Another case of very tight cursive handwriting that is somewhat prohibitive to my translating the entire message on the card. If anyone can make out any of the words I've indicated with a [?], please leave your best guesses in the comments section.
