Spotted this cool painting on a garage door in an alley on the 3700 block of Nicollet Avenue South over the weekend. The painting depicts a well known downtown Minneapolis view, that of the Hennepin Avenue Mississippi River bridge and the infamous old Grain Belt Beer sign that sits just north of the bridge on the east bank of the river...
...and here's a shot of the real-life scene that inspired the painting. This was taken on a fall evening in 2007.
